Perth’s art scene is about to be electrified as renowned WA artist Hans Bruechle, aka HANDBRAKE, prepares to unveil his largest solo exhibition to date, Chaos Concludes. Mark your calendars for 12-13 October 2024, as Fremantle’s historic Naval Store is transformed into a breathtaking, immersive art experience.
Building on the successes of Chaos Controlled and Chaos Rising, Chaos Concludes is the grand finale of HANDBRAKE’s acclaimed ‘Chaos’ series. This is not just an exhibition—it’s an event that merges art, technology, and sound in a way that’s never been seen before.
The centerpiece of the exhibition is a unique, large-scale mural brought to life by a cinematic projection installation. In collaboration with motion designer and animator Jhan Fung, this mural will be projected onto with dynamic visuals that shift and change, creating a living, breathing work of art. All of this will be set to a custom soundscape crafted by international music producer Devante, making the experience completely immersive and multi-sensory.
True to the chaos synonymous with HANDBRAKE’s style, the exhibition will also feature a collection of his latest gallery works, prints, and apparel. For those who appreciate art with an edge, don’t miss the award-winning HANDBRAKE x Rogue Motorcycles cafe racer and the hand-painted Tesla Model S, both on display as part of this monumental exhibition.
Whether you’re a long-time fan of HANDBRAKE or new to his work, Chaos Concludes offers a rare opportunity to see the artist’s most ambitious project to date. The Naval Store, with its historic architecture, provides the perfect backdrop for this blend of urban art, motion design, and sound, making it an unforgettable experience for all who attend.
