You’re welcome ?

EMOTIONALLY CONNECT

When people are scrolling through their social feed they are looking for something to grab their heart so make sure your image evokes a feeling and showcases real emotions.

ADD DEPTH

A ‘people’ image will be more interesting if there is foreground and background.  Allow something to blur in the foreground to add a sense of depth to the scene, as if someone could reach out and touch the moment.

ADD TEXTURE

Sometimes adding a rug, or scarf, or hat to a scene can take an image to the next level.

PLAY WITH LIGHT

Sometimes it’s not the perfect lighting that creates the perfect image.  Breaking the rules and shooting against sunlight can sometimes have the most beautiful results!

GET IN CLOSE

Getting in close and having a small point of focus can create a powerful image.

BLURRRRRRRRR

There is a trend at the moment for blurring images at the point where you would normally focus them.  Play around because the results can be surprisingly good, and emotive!
