Nestled in a quiet street in West Leederville is a superbly repurposed warehouse, which houses Perth’s newest brewery. Nowhereman Brewing Company is a fabulously unpretentious gem, which serves up a range of six beers produced in-house, including the crisp and refreshing Leederville Lager, which is sure to be one of the favourites of the joint, although all six beers contend highly for top honours.
Alongside the handcrafted beers, Nowhereman also serves up a carefully selected list of Western Australian wines, spirits and ciders. In keeping with the ‘locally produced’ theme, the menu boasts of a delicious selection of pub favourites at pub prices, using only ethically sourced Western Australian ingredients. The menu has been carefully created by highly renowned chef extraordinaire Matthew Sartori, who has previously hailed from the kitchens of Restaurant Amuse and Wildflower. His pizzas are so simplistically perfect, and we wouldn’t be surprised if they received top awards for best pizza in Perth.
Nowhereman Brewing Company is the brainchild of Reece Wheadon and brewer Paul Wyman, who both have big plans for their perfectly brewed beers. The pride they feel for their already hugely popular establishment was evident at the ribbon cutting ceremony, where Perth people in the know streamed steadily through the door and stayed put for the long haul. The applause thundered, and the beer flowed, and the pizza plates emptied the moment they hit the table. The buzz and excitement surrounding the opening of Nowhereman is set to stay, as people can’t seem to get enough of the laid back, easygoing vibe of the place.
It’s time to find Nowhereman.
