Up in the quiet and picturesque Perth hills set on 6.4 hectares is Naked Apple Cider House – a family friendly venue that kids and dogs alike will love! The cidery has handcrafted premium cider flowing 4 days a week, inviting patrons to enjoy the serenity of the beautiful hills location.
The breathtaking venue features four main areas to enjoy – the restaurant, the deck, the courtyard, as well as the stunning sprawling gardens with an adventure playground for the littlest loves in your life. The venue features two stunning murals by Kat Atkinson, multiple play areas and toasty fireplaces for the winter months. There’s a lot of magic within the gardens for the kids and fur babies to explore, and guests are invited to find a special spot, either mainstream with the crowd or more secluded, to enjoy their day.
Head chef Sebastian Sindermann, who trained at The Duxton, has put together a menu with something for every taste. The menu boasts some plentiful all-day options, such as Crispy Pork Belly Sliders and Pork Knuckle (yes, we love our Cider and Pork combos!) and there’s also a Sunday Breakfast menu, as well as a Little Apples menu for some tasty kids’ options. For those wanting to pop in for coffee and cake, apprentice pastry chef Georgina McWalter creates a mouthwatering range of cakes and pastries in house, the only problem is choosing between them. Our foodie insider tip is to relax on the deck and order some Jalapeño Poppers, which are filled with crispy bacon and cream cheese, and have these with a side of Green Caviar Cloudy Apple Cider.
And of course, the pièce de résistance is their cider, which owner Ross Engel makes sure doesn’t have anything added into it that isn’t found in (or on) an apple! That means no added sugar, flavourings, preservatives, or nasties in their delicious ciders, which range from cloudy apple ciders, to apple and pear ciders, and even fortified apple ciders. Naked Apple Cider have built up quite the reputation for their ciders, and regularly showcase at food, cider and beer festivals as a regular favourite. If cider isn’t your thing, don’t despair, because there’s also an impressive range of beer, wine and spirits available.
