La Fattoria’s ‘Nonna’s Family Table’ is a Trattoria, meaning it is family-run and without a menu. What? No menu, you say? That is the beauty of this beloved Trattoria – a series of rustic dishes are served and shared, inspired by traditional family recipes and the age-old custom of meeting together as a family and sharing food, wine and conversation over countless hours. Your table is yours for the entire day – there’s no rushing you out the door to get the next patrons in. While dining at Nonna’s Table, you are encouraged to take your time, wander around the nature garden that overlooks the orchards and vineyards, laze about outside in between courses, and spend that precious time together reconnecting as a family.
The menu for Nonna’s Table changes seasonally, and showcases locally produced delights in a variety of recipes. The 4 -5 courses classically include an antipasto, entrée, main and dessert, although bear in mind that the menu changes with the seasonal produce that becomes available. The dishes are shared, which is customary for an Italian family gathering, and are self-paced, meaning you have time to enjoy the numerous delights of the venue.
Another truly amazing experience at La Fattoria is the cellar door experience. In keeping with the unique offerings of the venue, guests can partake in a ‘Conversations with Italy’ wine flight, which include 5 wines and a piccolo antipasto.
